It's rare that dogs cannot consume bison backstrap. However, if your dog is a gulper, they must learn how to properly chew large foods to avoid swallowing too quickly and regurgitating this food. How do I feed Bison Backstrap?
Introduce slowly. Dogs can eat the entire backstrap but it is best to feed in moderation to avoid digestive upset. It is common to see cartilage pieces in the poop if they ate too much.
