2 Reasons to Feed Pig Ear

Can my dog eat Pig Ear?
It’s rare that dogs cannot consume pig ears. However, it is a fattier chew and can be easy to overfeed. Be sure to introduce in short sessions. If your dog is a gulper, they must learn how to properly chew to avoid swallowing too quickly and regurgitating this food. Senior dogs with poor dental health may have trouble with these as well, but you can soften these chews by soaking in warm water before feeding.
Why should I feed Pig Ear?
Pig ears are a great source of glucosamine and chondroitin which contribute to healthy joints!
Can dogs have Pig Ear allergies?
Dogs can have allergies or sensitivities to pork; however, it is uncommon. Bison and cow ears are a great alternative for dogs avoiding pork.
